The Nottinghamshire Beekeepers' Association
The Association was formed in 1884 with the original Constitution formulated at that time requiring a Membership Fee of 5 shillings. The Constitution was revised in 1990. The membership fee has been the same for many years at £25 (2022 rises to £27) the cheapest in the UK.
We are a very friendly Association affiliated to The British Beekeepers Association with over 350 members.
Many of our members attend Group meetings either in Nottingham or Newark. We aim to promote good beekeeping and to support our members in their bee related endeavours.
There are now Four Groups based in Nottingham, Newark, Hucknall and Beeston. There is no separate membership for these groups.
All members are entitled to attend any or all of the events and meetings.
There are also some other informal small local groups.
Members also receive a digital copy of BeeMaster our Newsletter edited by Stuart Humphreys.

Informal Groups Hucknall and Beeston
There are several informal groups including Hucknall (Contact - Janet Bates) and Beeston (Contact Karen Burrow). These are usually members who live locally to each other or keep bees in the area. All are welcome to come along to the monthly Nottingham Association meetings and chat to members.
